For school clubs and workshops in Nuneaton and the Midlands, Hand Crafted Jewellery by Jo runs jewellery workshops for adults and children, where you can learn to make stunning jewellery for you or a loved one. At workshops, you will be both shown and taught jewellery making skills, from basic threading to intricate wirework.
The proprietor, Jo, an adult tutor accredited by Warwickshire County Council, Coventry City Council and Worcester County Council and also has a Level 3 award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS). Jo also holds the enhanced DBS certificate (CRB) and has Public Liability Insurance.
I currently run school clubs in the local area for all ages.
This can be run as an elective lesson during the school day, a lunch time club or as an after school club to meet your school's requirements.
In 2016 Jo has worked in the community with local Brownie groups and other ventures.
And in 2017, two of Jo's group won 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place in the Festival of Arts Nuneaton for Jewellery Making.
I run adult Jewellery making workshops for Warwickshire County Council, adult and community learning.
I also can offer one to one, or group workshops at your home or venue. Adult Jewellery making parties can be arranged, please see my party page for ideas for a different birthday parties or a get together.
I can also visit community groups such as Elderly Peoples Homes, where I will do a jewellery making demo & discuss workshop prices around your needs, I will also bring samples of my work and materials and tools for you to handle.
New for September 2016, a regular jewellery making course at Bulkington Village Centre, Wednesdays 7pm to 9pm. Plus courses with three adult education settings in 2017, suitable for all levels of jewellery making. Classes will be held in Coventry Hobbycraft, Derby Hobbycraft, Solihull, Droitwich, Merryhil, Centre Of England Arts Hampton In Arden and other Midland venues.
